BMTS for 35 voltage
Block-modular packaged transformer substations in a mobile block-container module or a modular building made of sandwich panels for a voltage of 35/0.4 kV (hereinafter – BMTS 35/0.4 kV) with transformers up to 4000 kVA, of outdoor installation, are intended for receiving electrical energy of three-phase alternating current at a frequency of 50 Hz and a voltage of 35 kV and converting it into electric power at a voltage of 0.4 kV.
BMTS 35/0.4 kV are used for power supply of small industrial, municipal and agricultural consumers.
The main advantages of the BMTS 35/0.4 are:
- elimination of intermediate switchgear 10(6) kV;
- reduction of losses on long lines;
- increased reliability of electrical equipment;
- convenience and guaranteed operational safety;
- minimal time for installation, commissioning and putting into operation due to full factory readiness;
- the ability to dismantle and relocate to a new site in a short time.
The use of BMTS 35/0.4 kV makes it possible to shorten the time of installation and commissioning of equipment, eliminate intermediate substations 10(6) kV, reduce operating costs, and improve safety conditions.
The substation is housed in an insulated building made of three modules:
- indoor switchgear for 35 kV (indoor switchgear-35);
- power transformer;
- low-voltage switchgear for 0.4 kV (low-voltage switchgear).
Each of the compartments is fully assembled at the factory, which makes it possible to significantly reduce the time and labour intensity of installation at the site.
The 35 kV switchgear and 0.4 kV switchgear are provided with electric heating, internal lighting of the modules and external lighting of the substation, air conditioning, and a fire and security alarm.
To equip the BMTS 35/0.4 kV, equipment from both domestic and foreign manufacturers can be installed in the 35 kV and 0.4 kV switchgear.
BMTS 35/0.4 kV comply with TU U 27.1-40132794-004:2017.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
A BMTS is a block-modular substation of full factory readiness. Its main feature is that it is a "Lego" construction set for the power industry. It consists of unified insulated containers (modules) with equipment already installed. This makes it possible to assemble a substation of any configuration in a matter of days, simply by docking the modules at the site.
By saving time and by mobility. Building a stationary substation requires obtaining permits for capital construction, pouring a heavy foundation and lengthy works. A BMTS is equipment rather than real estate, which simplifies the paperwork, and if necessary it can be dismantled and transported to another site.
They are ideal for sites that develop in stages: solar and wind parks (modules can be added as construction phases are commissioned), oil and gas fields, quarries, as well as for temporary power supply of large construction sites.
