Terminal boxes
Terminal boxes are designed for connecting and branching the conductors of control cables with a cross-section from 0.5 mm2 to 4 mm2 in electrical circuits with a voltage of up to 600 V. Connection type – screw terminals.
Cables are entered openly without conduits (flexible metal hoses) through cable glands installed at the bottom, top or side of the box.
Note – If necessary, the customer additionally agrees the types of cable glands with the manufacturer based on the wiring installation method.
Design options:
- climatic design U, placement category 2 per GOST 15150;
- climatic design UHL, placement category 3 per GOST 15150;
- climatic design T, placement category 3 per GOST 15150;
- protection rating IP54 per DSTU EN 60529:2018
The terminal box complies with T3 TU U 27.1-40132795-003:2016.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Terminal boxes are designed for connecting and branching secondary and power electrical circuits. They act as a "switching node" where cables from sensors, circuit-breaker drives or automation systems are joined with cables running to the control desk.
An ordinary junction box is often sold empty. An industrial terminal box (of the KZN, KK, U-615 type) is supplied fully assembled: terminal blocks (modular terminals) are already mounted on a DIN rail or carbolite base, and cable entries (glands) are fitted. It is a ready-made product: "screw it on — connect it".
These are classic metal boxes for industry. They are installed at power plants, in factory workshops, on conveyor lines and outdoor switchgear for connecting control cables. They are sturdy and resistant to impacts and vibration.
