Pole-mounted transformer substations (pole-mounted transformer substation)
Pole-mounted packaged transformer substations (pole-mounted transformer substations) of the dead-end type for outdoor installation, with a rating from 25 to 250 kVA for a voltage of 6 (10) kV, are designed for receiving, converting and distributing three-phase AC electrical energy at a frequency of 50 Hz at a rated voltage of 6 (10) / 0.4 kV in power supply networks with a solidly earthed or isolated neutral on the low-voltage side.
The field of application of the pole-mounted transformer substation is power supply systems for residential buildings, farm buildings and other facilities with low power consumption in rural areas. They are installed directly on the supports of 6(10) kV overhead lines next to the electricity consumer.
For a power transformer rating of up to 63 kVA, the pole-mounted transformer substation is mounted on a single pole, and for a rating of 100-250 kVA — on two poles with an equipped maintenance platform (with railings and a ladder for climbing).
In the LV switchgear cabinet, a switch with fuses or a circuit breaker can be installed at the input and circuit breakers on the outgoing lines. As a separate order, electricity metering and a street-lighting panel are installed in the LV switchgear cabinet.
Climatic design U1 to GOST 15150-69.
The pole-mounted transformer substation complies with DSTU 3399-96.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
A pole-mounted transformer substation is the most compact and most affordable solution on the market. All equipment (transformer, high-voltage fuses, metering cabinet) is mounted directly on a single reinforced-concrete pole. It is an ideal choice for powering small facilities: a country house, a water tower, a homestead or a farm greenhouse.
The main difference lies in the installation method and the power rating: 1. Pole-mounted substation: usually mounted on a single pole. Rated for low power (up to 100 kVA). 2. Mast-type packaged substation: can be mounted on a portal structure of two poles. Rated for a heavier transformer and higher power (up to 250 kVA).
Not a single square metre. Unlike "kiosks", the pole-mounted substation hangs in the air. You do not need to pour a foundation or put up a fence (unless this is required by specific safety regulations in your region), which significantly simplifies the resolution of land matters.
