PSN-1200
DC auxiliary-supply panels of the PSN-1200 series are designed for the input and distribution of DC electrical energy at a voltage of up to 500 V from a storage battery, up to 250 A.
The panels are used to assemble auxiliary-supply boards at power plants, substations and power facilities with a voltage of up to 750 kV.
The PSN-1200 panels are classified by purpose into:
- incoming;
- distribution.
Climatic design – UHL4 per GOST 15150.
The PSN-1200 panels comply with the requirements of TU U 27.1-40132794-003:2016.
By design, the PSN-1200 panels are open frame-type panels with double-side servicing. The doors are hung on both the front and rear sides of the panel. Side walls are installed only at the ends of the board.
Switching and protection equipment is installed inside the panel on rails, while measuring instruments and control and signalling equipment are mounted on the front doors.

The ПСН-1200 is a DC auxiliary-needs panel (up to 500 V DC) that provides the input and distribution of the substation’s DC operating current from the storage battery. It feeds relay protection and automation, control, signalling and emergency-lighting circuits and circuit-breaker drives.
The panel is fed from the substation storage battery, which is continuously float-charged by a battery charger. Thanks to the battery, DC operating current is maintained even on a total loss of the AC supply — the substation’s protection and control stay operational.
