KRUN-E
Outdoor metal-clad switchgear (KRPN-E) is intended for receiving and distributing electrical energy of three-phase alternating current at a frequency of 50 or 60 Hz and a voltage of 6 or 10 kV in networks with an isolated neutral or a neutral earthed through an arc-suppression reactor.
It is used to equip switchgear for a voltage of 6 or 10 kV of packaged (block) transformer substations 35/6(10), 110/6(10), 110/35/6(10) kV of power systems, industrial and agricultural enterprises, or in separately located switchgear 6(10) kV.
The 6(10) kV switchgear is assembled from individual KRUN-E cubicles, each of which houses the equipment of a single connection to the busbars of the switchgear.
KRUN-E comply with TU U 27.1-40132794-001:2016 and DSTU IEC 62271-200:2015.
KRUN-E cubicles are equipped with circuit breakers of the type:
- VD-4, VM-1 (ABB, Germany);
- Evolis (Schneider Electric, France);
Climatic version U1 or UHL1 per GOST 15150-69.
Protection rating of cubicles – IP54 per DSTU EN 60529:2014.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
The KRUN-E is an insulated metal cubicle with high-voltage equipment (6 or 10 kV) designed to operate outdoors. The main areas of use are: 1. Quarries and mines: for powering powerful excavators, drilling rigs and conveyors (often called "YaKNO"). 2. Distribution points: in rural or urban networks for sectionalising overhead lines. 3. Temporary power supply: at large construction sites.
KSO cubicles are intended only for installation inside heated premises (brick buildings). The KRUN-E is a fully self-contained outdoor product. It has a roof, sealed doors, a reinforced enclosure and its own heating system, so it does not need a building.
Yes, this is one of its main functions. For quarries, we manufacture the KRUN-E in a reinforced enclosure resistant to vibrations, and we can mount it on skids. This makes it possible to drag the cubicle across the quarry with a tractor, following the excavator, without dismantling the equipment.
