ShchO 90 type distribution board panels for currents up to 4000 A
Purpose of ShchO 90 panels:
Distribution board panels of the ShchO 90 type are designed for receiving and distributing electric energy at a voltage of 0.4 kV, three-phase alternating current with a frequency of 50 Hz, and for protecting the outgoing lines against overloads and short-circuit currents.
Distribution board panels of the ShchO 90 type are used in switchgear with TNC, TN-C-S, TNS and IT earthing systems.
The boards are assembled from individual ShchO 90 type panels and are serviced from the front.
By the type of main electrical circuits, the panels are divided into: incoming, line, sectional, combined and others. For the standard grid of main-circuit diagrams and the questionnaire for the panels, see here: https://lk-energy.com.ua/catalog/product-x9f3k7
Which ShchO 90 panels we manufacture:
Each panel is an assembled structure made of galvanised press-bent profiles with switching and protective devices and electrical measuring instruments installed on them.
The external doors of the panel, made of galvanised metal, can optionally be painted with powder paint to a RAL number agreed with the Customer.
According to the requirements of the Customer’s project, each panel can be supplemented with such structural elements as internal doors, sealing devices, a plinth, attachments for busbar or cable entries, etc. For safety reasons, the panels can be equipped with removable partitions and protective screens.
The overall dimensions of the panels can be within the following ranges (mm): height – 2000, 2200, 2400; width 400, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900, 1000; depth 600, 700, 800. The overall dimensions of the auxiliary components of ShchO 90 distribution boards, namely the end panels and busbar bridges, are manufactured according to the dimensions of the main panels to the established
Climatic version – U3 according to GOST 15150-69.
Degree of protection of the panels according to GOST 14254-96 (first digit in the designation of the diagram number):
−1XXX – for the open version IP00, on the front side – IP20;
−2XXX – for the enclosed version IP20, (on the bottom side – IP00, or IP20.
ShchO 90 type panels comply with TU U 27.1-40132794-003:2016.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
ShchO-90 (one-side-serviced board, series 90) is a 0.4 kV distribution panel. It is used to assemble boards in transformer substations and main distribution boards of industrial and residential buildings. It is a more modern and improved version of the older ShchO-70 panels.
Although they are functionally similar, ShchO-90 has several design improvements: 1. Strength: The ShchO-90 frame is usually more rigid and more resistant to deformation during short circuits. 2. Safety: In the ShchO-90, the separation between compartments (busbar and instrument) is implemented more thoroughly, which improves servicing safety. 3. Dimensions: ShchO-90 panels often have a slightly smaller depth or optimised arrangement of equipment. At the same time, they are often compatible in mounting positions, which allows old panels to be replaced with new ones.
ShchO-90, like ShchO-70, belong to open distribution boards. On the front side they have doors (protection rating IP20), but on the sides and rear they are open (IP00). Therefore, they are installed only in special enclosed rooms (electrical switchrooms) accessible only to electricians.
