RUNN cabinets
RUNN-E is a low-voltage assembly designed for the reception and distribution of three-phase AC electrical energy at 50 Hz and 0.4 kV in networks with a solidly earthed or isolated neutral, for the protection of electrical equipment against short-circuit currents and overloads, as well as for control, signalling and measurement.
RUNN-E is used as part of power supply, control and automation systems as distribution boards, power distribution points, control and automation boards and cabinets.
RUNN-E can also be used as switchgear on the low-voltage side of packaged transformer substations.
Structure of the type designation

The following abbreviations are used in this section:
- ShV – incoming cabinet;
- ShU – metering cabinet;
- ShSV – section circuit breaker cabinet;
- ShSR – section disconnector cabinet;
- ShUO – street lighting control cabinet;
- ShAV – distribution cabinet with circuit breakers;
- ShBRP – distribution cabinet with switch-fuse blocks and fuses;
- ShUKM – 0.4 kV capacitor unit cabinet;
- ShAVR – cabinet with an ATS (automatic transfer switch) unit.
RUNN-E units are manufactured in accordance with TU U 27.1-40132794-003:2016 and comply with the following regulatory documents:

The RUNN-E busbar system is made of copper busbars.
All live busbars within the switchgear are connected by bolted joints with protection against self-loosening.
The high density of devices in RUNN-E makes it possible to reduce the dimensions of the unit, which in turn lowers construction and maintenance costs.
The RUNN-E design makes it convenient to route and connect supply cables during installation and commissioning, and during operation to carry out work on each feeder without de-energizing the entire section.
When load-break switches of the type ARS, BTVC, NSL-E3, NSL are installed, it is possible to install, instead of one load-break switch of sizes 1?3, two load-break switches of size 00 (up to 160 A) without changing the design of the switchgear.

RUNN (low-voltage switchgear) is a set of cabinets designed to receive electricity from a power transformer (0.4 kV) and distribute it among consumers. Most often, RUNN is installed inside transformer substations (BKTP, KTP), as well as in the main switchboard rooms of industrial enterprises or business centres as a main LV distribution board (GRShch).
ShchO-70 panels are an outdated standard of open distribution boards. Modern RUNN cabinets (for example, based on Prisma, Sivacon or domestic equivalent frameworks) are fully enclosed, which is much safer for personnel. They have smaller dimensions, a better design and make it possible to implement more complex automation schemes.
Yes, this is a very common practice (retrofit). We can manufacture a new RUNN line that fits exactly into the space of the old panels in terms of dimensions, but is equipped with modern vacuum or air circuit breakers, which significantly improves the reliability of the power supply without a major renovation of the premises.
