KM-E-1XXX
Metal-clad switchgear of the KM-E-1XXX series is intended for receiving and distributing electrical energy of three-phase alternating current at a frequency of 50 or 60 Hz and a voltage of 6 or 10 kV in networks with an isolated neutral or a neutral earthed through an arc-suppression reactor.
It is used in indoor switchgear and electrical installations with frequent switching operations.
The 6(10) kV indoor switchgear is assembled from individual switchgear cubicles, each of which houses the equipment of a single connection to the busbars of the indoor switchgear.
KM-E-1XXX series cubicles comply with the requirements of TU U 27.1-40132794-001:2016 and DSTU IEC 62271-200:2015.
The KRU cubicle is a metal prefabricated structure of the frame-and-panel type, made of high-quality steel sheet on high-precision equipment, painted by powder coating, with high-voltage equipment built into it, as well as measuring, signalling, protection and control devices.
Climatic version U3 per GOST 15150-69.
Protection rating of cubicles – IP20 per DSTU EN 60529:2014.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
The KM-E (Complete Modernised series) is a 6-10 kV distribution cubicle with a withdrawable element. It is intended for receiving and distributing electricity at critical facilities: distribution-company substations, oil and gas enterprises, metallurgical plants and combined heat and power plants, where maximum continuity and speed of maintenance are required.
The digits after the series name indicate the number of the main circuit (primary connections) diagram. 1. The first digit "1" is the designation of the cubicle's dimension or modification. 2. The next three digits (XXX) are the number of a specific diagram from the catalogue (for example, a line with a circuit breaker, a section disconnector, a voltage transformer, etc.). When ordering, our engineers select the diagram numbers according to your single-line project.
The main advantage is the cassette (withdrawable) design. In a KSO cubicle, the circuit breaker is bolted firmly in place. In a KM-E cabinet, the circuit breaker stands on a special trolley (cassette). In the event of a breakdown or for maintenance, personnel can withdraw the circuit breaker in a minute, inspect it in a safe area or replace it with a spare, without de-energising the entire busbar section for a long time.
